What does "recurring" mean exactly?
You earn 30% of every paid invoice your referrals generate, for the lifetime of the account. If a Growth customer you referred stays for two years, you earn 30% × $99/mo × 24 months = $712.80. We do not cap or claw back commissions when a referred account upgrades.
When and how do payouts happen?
Monthly via PayPal, Wise, or bank transfer. We pay out on the 15th for the prior month's earned commission. Minimum payout is $50; we roll over balances below that into the next month.
How is the referral attributed?
Each affiliate gets a unique URL slug (e.g. aeolens.ai/?ref=yourname) and a 60-day attribution cookie. If someone clicks your link and signs up + becomes paying within 60 days, the referral attributes to you — even if the signup completes from a different device, as long as they end up logging in via the same email.
Who does the program work best for?
SEO and AI-search newsletter writers, YouTube channels covering AEO/GEO/AI search, SEO consultants whose clients would benefit from AEOlens, AI-tool review sites, and SaaS-comparison content creators. We do not gate the program — anyone can apply — but those audiences convert best.
Can agencies be both an Agency-plan customer and an affiliate?
Yes. If you run an Agency-plan workspace AND refer other agencies, you earn 30% on those referrals on top of your own client revenue. The two streams are independent.
Are there any content restrictions?
Three: (1) Do not run paid ads on AEOlens brand keywords or close variants — affiliates running competing paid search will be removed. (2) Do not auto-fill or pre-populate signup with referral cookies via redirect chains. (3) Honest reviews only — we do not pay out on misleading "AEOlens vs X" content that misrepresents the product.
How do I track my referrals?
Affiliates get a dashboard with click-throughs, signups, paid conversions, and pending payout. We update the numbers daily.
What if my referral churns or downgrades?
Your commission tracks the actual invoice. If a Growth referral downgrades to Starter, your monthly cut adjusts to 30% of $35 instead of 30% of $99. Net-negative invoices (refunds) are deducted in the same month.
