These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AEOlens (aeolens.ai), operated by AEOlens ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
AEOlens provides Answer Engine Optimisation audit tools, including:
- Structural URL audits with scored check results
- Fix recommendations with implementation guidance
- AI buyer simulation across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok, Claude
- Weekly monitoring and score history
- Developer export tools
2. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share account credentials or allow others to access your account.
One account may be used by multiple team members through the workspace member invitation system. Each member must have their own AEOlens account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Audit URLs you do not own or have permission to audit
- Use AEOlens to generate spam, scrape competitor data at scale, or automate audits beyond your plan's scan limits
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the scoring algorithm or audit methodology
- Resell or sublicense access to the AEOlens platform
- Use the service in a way that violates applicable law
4. Plans and billing
AEOlens offers Free, Starter, Growth, and Agency plans. Paid plans are billed monthly via Dodo Payments. Plan features and limits are as described on the pricing page at aeolens.ai/pricing.
Billing is per organisation. Your plan applies to all projects within your organisation. Upgrading or downgrading takes effect immediately. Downgrades do not trigger refunds for the current billing period.
5. Refunds
See our Refund Policy for full details. In summary: we offer a 7-day refund on first-time paid plan subscriptions. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods or after the 7-day window.
6. Service availability
We aim for 99.5% uptime. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 24 hours in advance via email to affected users. We are not liable for losses caused by service downtime.
7. Data and privacy
Use of the service is subject to our Privacy Policy. We process scan data to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of URLs you audit or content you generate using the fix engine.
8. Intellectual property
The AEOlens platform, scoring methodology, and software are owned by AEOlens. You retain ownership of the URLs and content you audit. Fix recommendations generated by the AI fix engine are provided as suggestions — you are responsible for implementation decisions.
9. Limitation of liability
AEOlens provides audit results as informational guidance. We make no guarantee that implementing fix recommendations will improve search rankings, AI citation frequency, or business outcomes. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 30 days preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time from the billing settings. Cancellation stops future billing but does not trigger a refund for the current period.
11. Changes to these Terms
We will notify users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
